The Black-capped Chickadee and his cousin the Carolina Chickadee are frequent visitors to backyard feeders. Have you spotted them? These birds are almost universally considered “cute” thanks to their oversized round head, tiny body, and curiosity about everything (including humans). For that reason the chickadee was a natural choice when we developed the North American Songbird dessert pattern a few years back
