Item: Match Italian Pewter Antique Serving fork Match Pewter is known for manufacturing the most desirable pewter in the market because of its high tin content. Tin is one of the most valuable metals in the world and any pewter piece should have a minimum of 92% tin content. Match Pewter is made up of 95% high quality tin, which gives Match Pewter its warm and soft glow and also adds to its value. All Match Pewter is hand made in northern Italy by expert pewtersmiths. Each piece of pewter that Match makes is heirloom quality. All Match Pewter is stamped with hallmarks from Match or from the antique mold from which the piece is made. Match Pewter rarely needs care, but when it does, Cape Cod metal polish will buff out any tarnishing.
Match Pewter should be washed in warm soapy water and hand dried. All flatware and ceramic dinnerware may be washed in the dishwasher with mild liquid detergent on the lowest heat setting and dried at the lowest heat setting. If your water is hard, do not wash Match in the dishwasher. All Match stemware and bar ware should be hand washed only. 13.4" Long
